What can I say gem… we fought like cat and dog I’m almost certain I wound you up most days but when it actually came down to it you protected me fiercely like any big sis would being my saviour when I was bullied they never touched me again after you had a word haha! Promising me your best moisturiser if u could just pick my spots first Pulling your tv into the hallway for me to watch when I was off sick poorly Making me check your shoes for spiders before you would put them on Showing me how to make a secret mixture of water and flour and pouring it behind the coal bunker so we wouldn’t get told off Getting me to come sleep in your bed when you were scared haha Chasing me with a foam pole when I wouldn’t tell you what your Xmas present was haha We spent countless Saturdays with James and Joanne getting grandad to score our gymnastics skills out of 10 I missed you when you moved away and I’ll miss you everyday from now until we see each other again I hope you are mum are having a wicked catch up up there xxxxx

So many memories, you were such a huge part of my childhood. Holidays at Pontins and jumping through the sprinkler in Grandad’s garden. Wearing towels on our head to pretend we had long hair. You always had a cheeky plan and I followed. We cut the heads off Grandad‘s roses to make purfume ( he was not impressed). We were made to leave Mrs Moody‘s garden for making mud pies and got caught eating Miss Preece‘s blackberries at the back of her garden. From a tiny girl you wanted to be a hair dresser just like auntie Terri and she was so proud of you when you did just that, we all were. I will not forget you, Rest in Peace, love Joanne x

So many memories and stories to be told over the years. From you reffing my football game at my party when i was kid and not knowing any of the rules to you being there for me whenever i needed you and you always saying how proud you were of me. You took me in from 18 months old and treated and raised me as your own until your very last day. Love you so much and life will never be the same 💔
